It's time we realized that Greg Abbott is more concerned with sucking up to Trump's MAGA base than preventing deaths from the COVID-19 Delta variant.
That's why he's banning cities from using public health measures to limit the spread. And now, cases are higher than they've been in months and 40 Texans are dying per day.
Polling suggests that Greg Abbott is beatable. But we need to make the case now to independent voters across Texas so they understand his failures.

On March 10, 2021, Governor Greg Abbott claimed that Texas had reached “herd immunity” and that it was safe to reopen despite having no comprehensive plan to do so.
Since then, 356,123 Texans have tested positive for COVID, and 4,780 Texans have died from the disease.
Four hospital regions of Texas have more than 15% of their beds taken up by COVID patients. A month ago, they would’ve been able to use public health measures to limit the spread. But Greg Abbott banned them from doing anything to save lives. And now, 40 Texans are dying daily.
Greg Abbott has failed -- and he doesn’t deserve another four years as governor. But we need your help to defeat him in 2022. Can you chip in $25 or more to help us hold him accountable?
You’d think Gov. Abbott would be 100% focused on preventing further outbreaks. Instead, he’s met with Donald Trump more than he has with families affected by the pandemic.
In fact, he’s pouring $250 million of your tax dollars and countless hours of energy into building a racist border wall on the southern border, just to suck up to his MAGA base. It’s shameful.
