President Biden and Democratic leaders have a chance for enormous,
transformational impact on our country. Pushing forward President Biden's
American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan would mean a massive
investment in jobs, infrastructure, the care economy, our climate
future, and so much more.

We're at a critical moment in this fight, and Democrats need to know
that voters across the country are demanding these sweeping pieces of
legislation. They need to know that these provisions would be
transformative to our lives and communities and that we'll have their
backs if they unite to pass game-changing policies that affect us
all—including a deep investment in fighting climate change, building up
the care economy, establishing a pathway to citizenship for millions of
immigrants in the U.S., and paying for it by making the ultra-wealthy and
corporations pay their fair share.

Here's our plan: We'll share the results of this survey—as well as any
stories, anecdotes, or details you provide—with key elected officials and
with the media in order to make clear that there is not only national
momentum to act now but also a mandate for Democrats to act boldly.

We're going to deliver a message to Senate leaders and key Democrats, but
we're going to need your help. In the coming weeks, we're going to have
numerous opportunities for MoveOn members to plug in and pressure their
elected officials into supporting a big, bold recovery package. We'll be
asking members to sign petitions, call their representatives, host and
attend (COVID-safe) events in their districts, send letters to their local
newspapers, and share content on social media. 

We don't expect Republicans to be on board, because Mitch McConnell has
made clear that obstructing President Biden is his only goal. But
Democrats can do this without Republicans, through a process that cannot
be obstructed by the filibuster. However, that means stiffening Democrats'
spines and putting wind in their sails so they move forward as boldly as
possible.
