Republicans are worried that our promise of a new Virginia that prioritizes gun safety, equal rights, and a higher minimum wage could become a reality on November 5th. And a new poll shows that voters in Virginia largely agree with Democratic priorities:

48% of voters believe that Democrats controlling the General Assembly and the Governor's office would be a good thing, compared to just 42% who favor Republican control.
More than 8 out of 10 voters support the Virginia legislature passing the Equal Rights Amendment and two-thirds of Virginians support increasing the minimum wage to $15/hour.

With all 140 seats in the General Assembly on the ballot this November, Republicans are holding on to their slim majority with everything they've got -- but they are getting worried.

Virginia Republicans are going to try to stop the blue wave and the changes Democrats want to make. Virginia GOP Chairman Jack Wilson sent an urgent email to supporters recently with a "grave warning" that a Democratic majority "should send shivers down your spine." We can't let this kind of fear-mongering win out.
