Dear Friend,
As Mississippi’s free market think tank, we aim to shift the climate of opinion in our state in favor of liberty and limited government. It has been a great week towards that goal!
Our Fat Cat report ([link removed]) , which exposed the highest-paid public officials across the state, featured on Fox News ([link removed]) , as well as multiple media outlets across the state, including the Clarion Ledger ([link removed]) and the Northside Sun. Over 1,500,000 people have watched or listened to news of the report.
In addition, I was able to travel around the state in person to discuss the report, including a trip to Biloxi.
For as long as anyone can remember, we have been told that poor public services in Mississippi are caused by insufficient funding. Our report overturns that narrative, and reveals that the problem is a chronic lack of public accountability.
The cozy cartels that have run public education in our state, and often run the school system into the ground, need to be exposed.
We believe that Mississippi deserves better – and our report takes on the self-serving bureaucracy head on!
Thank you – and have a great weekend!
Warm Regards,
Douglas Carswell
President & CEO
