Friend,

We're facing an emergency for the Arctic Refuge.

The U.S. Senate could vote as soon as Monday to force new lease sales and destructive oil and gas drilling in the Arctic Refuge.

We need your help to protect the Arctic. We're mobilizing to show our U.S. senators that Coloradans want the refuge protected -- but we need your help.

Will you rush an emergency donation today to help protect the Arctic Refuge? Until midnight on Monday, August 9, generous donors will match your donation dollar for dollar, up to $10,000 nationwide.

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is one of the last pristine wildernesses that we have left, and oil and gas drilling would be a disaster.

The heavy vehicles used to search for oil in the refuge will crush polar bear dens and cause mother bears to abandon their cubs. The Porcupine caribou herd will be displaced from its ancestral calving ground. Nearly 70 species of birds could be driven to extinction.[1,2,3]

And at a time when we need to get off of fossil fuels if we're going to save our planet from climate change, why would we destroy this natural wonder for a little more oil?

You've helped us defend the Arctic Refuge before: With your help, we took the Trump administration to court, and we helped convince the Biden administration to suspend oil and gas drilling leases in the refuge this summer.

But now the refuge is in danger again, and we need your help, Friend.

We're taking a stand to protect the Arctic Refuge from oil and gas drilling, and we know that we have what it takes to win in this critical moment -- but we can't do it alone.

Will you help us again by making a matched donation today?
