Friend,
My name is Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester -- LBR for short -- and I’m Delaware’s one and only Representative in the US House of Representatives.
A little bit about me: I’m a proud Delawarean through and through. Before I became the first woman and the first African American to represent Delaware in Congress, I served in two Governor’s cabinets and as the CEO of the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League.
Since I was sworn in to Congress, I’ve been working tirelessly to deliver the common-sense legislation that the people of Delaware deserve.
I’ve led the charge to lower health care costs across the board, fought for environmental justice to make sure we have clean air and water, and created a bipartisan Future of Work caucus focused on developing good-paying jobs for people today and future generations.
You can count on me to continue fighting for Delaware for another term because, as I like to say: When Lisa goes to Washington, we all go to Washington.
Now, my work is far from done, and I need you on board if I’m going to continue fighting for Delaware and help the Biden-Harris administration build our country back better.
If you’re on board with keeping the Blue Hen state Blue, join my campaign today!
I’M ON BOARD! [link removed]
More from me later!
Lisa
