John,

The Voting Rights Act turns 56 today!

The VRA was the farthest-reaching and most consequential voting rights legislation passed in the 20th century. It brought the entire nation one step closer to making sure everyone had an equal opportunity to vote.

In the past decade alone, we’ve seen a continued attack on the Voting Rights Act by Republicans up and down the ballot. And the conservative-leaning Supreme Court has gutted key provisions of the bill in 2013 and 2021.

We can’t put up with another decade of attacks on the Voting Rights Act. Can we count on your support to help us defend the Voting Rights Act?

This year alone, GOP state lawmakers in 49 states introduced nearly 400 bills that chip away at the VRA. If they had their way, Republicans would likely throw out the legislation altogether.

The GOP will stop at nothing to squash what is left of the Voting Rights Act. We can’t stand by and let them.

We need to call on Congress to take a stand and support legislation that will revitalize the Voting Rights Act, and we need your support. Can you chip in today?

Thank You,

Vote From Home is a grassroots movement that's fighting to expand vote-by-mail. We helped thousands of Democrats vote safely from home in Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina and Georgia in 2020 and 2021. Now we're focused on stopping politicians and legislation who are making it harder for Americans to vote by mail. Please forward this email if you know someone who may be interested. Our average gift is just under $39 so consider donating that today to support voting rights: [link removed]
