*Governor Parson's Schedule for August 9 - 14, 2021*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO)* ? Next week, Governor Mike Parson will attend various meetings and events across the sate and participate in several celebrations commemorating Statehood Day and Missouri's Bicentennial on Tuesday, August 10.

On *Monday*, *August 9*, Governor Parson will attend the dedication ceremony for the new Bicentennial Bridge near the State Capitol grounds.?

On *Tuesday*, *August 10*, Governor Parson will host a reception for dignitaries participating in the Statehood Ceremony at the State Capitol. He and the First Lady will then participate in the Statehood Day events [ [link removed] ] being hosted by the Missouri Bicentennial Commission to celebrate 200 years of Missouri statehood, including the official Statehood Day Ceremony, a naturalization ceremony, a luncheon at the Governor's Mansion, the Bicentennial Tree Dedication, and an ice cream social at Central Dairy.?

On *Wednesday*, *August 11,* Governor Parson will participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony for Chewy's new eCommerce fulfillment center in Belton. He will then attend the Cultivating the Future Gala at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

On *Thursday*, *August 12*, Governor and First Lady Parson will participate in the Opening Day Ceremony at the Missouri State Fair. They will then have lunch with Missouri Pork Producers Association members and make Bicentennial Tour stops in Warrensburg and Harrisonville.?

On *Saturday*, *August 14*, Governor Parson will attend the Bicentennial Celebration and Heritage Festival in Mountain Grove.?
