More Than 100 Lawmakers From Nearly 30 States Arrive in D.C. to Rally for Voting Rights
--Newsweek
Hi John
Never doubt that when our freedom to vote is under threat, Run for Something alums do not rest!
This week, over 100 Democratic state legislators and local electeds from across the U.S. joined their Texas peers in Washington, D.C. to demand Congress pass the #ForThePeople Act to protect our freedom to vote.
And nearly a quarter of them are Run for Something Alumni -- pretty damn fantastic, isn't it?
This is what achieving our mission looks like, John. We've been busting our asses to elect diverse young progressives to local office -- rebuilding our party's political infrastructure one race at a time -- for four years. And now our alums are fighting for ALL of us.
Now imagine the possibilities if we elect hundreds more leaders just like our alums in D.C., who fight for their communities and their country every day and everywhere.
Let's keep electing diverse young progressives to down-ballot office. Chip in $5, or whatever you can, to keep the movement going strong.

P.S. Check out some of these photos our alums tweeted out!
And if they make you feel inspired, chip in $5 or more to elect more leaders like them.
