Your support for our campaign has not gone unnoticed.

I'm so very grateful that you chose to be a part of our movement to stand up to the gun lobby and pass meaningful legislation that will make our communities safer.

Running as a Democrat in Georgia is tough, but your support sends a powerful message that change is possible if we work together.

We can't get too comfortable, though. Both the NRCC and the DCCC have declared ours as one of the most vulnerable Democratic House seats.

And almost every expert is predicting that this will be one of the toughest districts for us to win.

But political insiders have tried to count us out before. They said my first election was a fluke — the NRA even said it was only because I'm a “ minority female. ”

So I need your help to prepare for the difficult battle of defending this seat.

Gun lobby groups and the GOP will spend millions to try and defeat us, but if we can make strategic investments in our campaign early, we'll be able to defend this seat over the long-haul.
