In a few days, a barbaric new abortion regime is set to be imposed on Northern Ireland which removes all protection for babies under 28 weeks and puts women at risk.
This bill can be stopped if Sinn Fein agrees to reconvene. So far they are refusing.
Sign this petition to Sinn Fein demanding that they protect the unborn.

Dear John, British Parliament voted to impose one of the most extreme abortion laws for Northern Ireland without any kind of consultation from its citizens. This new law will replace Northern Ireland’s current pro-life law with a radical abortion regime allowing for abortion for any reason, on-demand, and there will be no law protecting the unborn child right through to 28-weeks. All this can be stopped by one political party - Sinn Fein, who must agree to reconvene the Northern Ireland Assembly, even if only for one day, before the 21st October and this extreme law will be stopped. This is because the terms of the proposed bill state that it will only come into effect on October 21, if the Northern Ireland Assembly has not reconvened by that time. So all it would take is one moment of greatness. Is Sinn Fein willing to take this step in support of the unborn or cave to pressures from the abortion lobby? Please sign the petition to the leader of Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland, Michelle O'Neill demanding that her party reconvenes the Northern Ireland Assembly by October 21. CitizenGO is encouraging petition signers to stand up against the global abortion agenda. It continues with this petition. Sign here! If the new abortion law is imposed by pro-abortion lobbies, Northern Ireland is likely to become the abortion capital of Europe with the following consequences: - Introduction of discriminatory abortions for babies with Down’s Syndrome or more.
-
Legalization of sex-selective abortion (mostly affecting girls) -
Twin abortions (where one baby is allowed to live and the other chosen to die) -
Partial-birth (and other controversial procedures) abortions legalized -
It will be legal to leave babies born alive after abortion to die, with no medical support -
No doctors will be required to be involved in the abortion process You can do something to stop this horror from coming into effect. Please tell Mary McNeill and the Sinn Fein party that they must reconvene the Northern Ireland Assembly in Stormont, just for one day only, before the 21st October. Sign here! So far over 100,000 people are alive today thanks to Northern Ireland’s defense of the unborn. This new law will endanger the lives of women and most likely lead to new lives being lost to abortion. We want Northern Ireland to remain a country in which the life of the unborn is protected and which represents an alternative to the culture of Death in the West. Let’s raise our voice with the CitizenGO community to make it possible!
Sinn Fein’s position is totally unacceptable and a complete betrayal of their voters. Sign here! Please sign the petition to make your feelings known and put pressure on Mary McNeill. With grateful thanks to all that you do to defend innocent life,
