I’ll be frank: Republicans are pissed off that we flipped Georgia blue last November and again in January during the Senate runoffs, and they don’t want it to happen again.
Their plan isn’t to win more votes this time around, it’s to redraw district lines to tip the scales in their favor. Estimates suggest Republicans could wipe out half of the Georgia Democrats next year through gerrymandering.
Between Georgia and other states like Florida, North Carolina, and Texas that the GOP controls, they could flip the House of Representatives just by gerrymandering district lines in their favor. This is an attempt to circumvent democracy and permanently control the House. It might be our last chance to stop them.
