Vaccine misinformation: Let's talk facts
We've been made aware there are anti-Covid vaccine leaflets and newspapers being posted through residents' doors. This information does not appear to be based on scientific evidence and could put you and your family at risk of a serious illness or death.
Getting vaccinated significantly increases your chance of survival and recovery, and it's the best possible way of stopping the spread of the virus.
We're making every effort to combat misinformation about getting vaccinated, and we're committed to making sure you are fully informed. Here is some useful information from the NHS:

If you’re the parent of a young person, you’ll know they’ll be collecting their A-Level and GCSE results next week.

We have been getting reports about fireworks being set off past 11pm. It is illegal to set off fireworks between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Using fireworks illegally carries a fine of up to £5,000 or 6 months in prison and can also incur a £90 on-the-spot fine. The only exclusions to these times are Bonfire Night, when the cut off is midnight, and New Year’s Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year, when the cut off is 1am.
Any incidents of illegal fireworks use should be reported to the police on 101.
