John, just this week one of the most progressive members of Congress talked
once again about defunding the police.
We’ve heard it before - but it was interesting to hear it again from Cori Bush
who spent more than $70,000 in campaign funds for her own private security.

How much more of this hypocrisy are we expected to take?
Our police officers are trashed by the media, by members of Congress, and even
by the current President and Vice President of the United States. And our
communities are suffering because of it!
But our so-called leaders in Congress don’t feel responsible for it - they
only feel responsible for themselves.
It’s out of control.
We cannot tolerate this hypocritical anti-police rhetoric. We need to stand
up. We need to support our police officers and protect our communities.
