Hey, John — it's John. I'm
coming to you with a super candid note:

Another new competitor jumped into this race just now, proving once again
that this will be the *single most competitive* Senate race in the nation
in 2022.

I sincerely believe that, no matter who's entering this race on the
Democratic side, they'd be a hell of a lot better senator for Pennsylvania
than Pat Toomey ever was.

But as we witness the political stalemates happening in Washington, and
the lack of conviction from some senators who are <checks notes> supposed
to be Democrats, I am reminded how high the stakes are as we fight to
expand our razor-thin, 50-50 majority.

John, I'm running for U.S.
Senate precisely because it'd be the honor of my lifetime to vote for
bold, once-in-a-lifetime legislation that would tangibly improve the lives
of millions of workers and their families. To serve you as that 51st vote.
And to fight relentlessly for the things I've *always* believed in, like
defending the sacred right to vote, at least a $15 minimum wage, and legal
weed.

Our Commonwealth's next senator must act with conviction. They must vote like
a Democrat. We have the majority, we have the presidency, we have the
House, we have the Senate – so let's act like it and finally deliver the
Biden agenda to the American people. We simply don't have time to play
partisan games while the future of our democracy is on the line.
