Detroit DSA is a
1200+ member funded organization. We receive no money from outside
sources so we can say things like "Defund the Police" and "Abolish
ICE" without losing funding, and we will always act democratically in
the interests of our members and the working class! If you're able to, we ask that you make
monthly contributions as they more directly benefit our chapter. Thank
you for whatever amount you're able to contribute!
Our records indicate you are not yet a member,

power!

This week, our Ecosocialist comrades
are putting on two great events! Tuesday night is our Launch Call for
our new National DSA campaign - Green New Deal for Public
Schools, where we'll discuss how we can work to build a
better future for our children and our planet.
On Wednesday, we'll be joined by
several DSA chapter members from the Midwest alongside
our Anishinaabe comrades to learn about
Lines 3 and 5, a fight which not only poses a threat
to the Great Lakes, but also the people with the courage and
conviction to stand up to the oil companies ravaging our environment
for the sake of profit.
Our August
General Membership Meeting will be
held on Saturday, August 14th in Clark Park
at 11AM. You can RSVP
here, and the agenda will include a discussion about the
DSA National Convention, results of the
August 3rd Primary and next steps for Detroit for
All, plus a vote on our Electoral Endorsement
guidelines.
We look forward to seeing
you!
Solidarity forever,
Detroit DSA
