Friend,

For too long, communities of color have borne the brunt of climate change because we've put profit before the planet and the safety of our people. This has led to disproportionate exposure to pollution, lower average life expectancies, and higher rates of illness in low-income and BIPOC communities.

That's unacceptable. We can no longer let marginalized communities be our first line of defense against the climate crisis. It's bad for our planet, our people, and reinforces centuries of racism.

Cars are one of the largest polluters, and zero-emission vehicles are not widely available in underserved communities. That's why Jason just introduced the Community Vehicle Charging Act to create grants for electric vehicle charging stations in underserved communities. This investment in transit infrastructure is necessary to chart a greener future for all .

Our only chance to fight the climate crisis is by finding bold and innovative solutions to clean up our planet. Jason's bill would be an important step toward environmental justice and equity, and he needs your support.

We can build back better by making investments in clean energy for all communities. Show your support by signing on as a grassroots co-sponsor of Jason's Community Vehicle Charging Act.
