[1]Justice Democrats
John,
Cori Bush, and the Justice Democrats that stood with her, accomplished a
lot this week. While House Democrats left Washington — many to go to their
vacation homes — Cori Bush stood with those at risk of being evicted from
their only home.
For too long, Congressional inaction was part of the status quo, but with
members of Congress like Cori Bush, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamaal
Bowman, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley, Congress is on notice to actually
get things done.
We just announced our endorsement of Jessica Cisneros to join the 2022
Justice Democrats slate and if elected, these working-class women of color
will join Cori Bush in shaking up the status quo.
[ [link removed] ]Will you chip in $3 so we can grow our coalition with
elected officials who will always stand with working people in Washington?
We provide the campaign infrastructure needed for working-class candidates
to defeat well-funded incumbents.

The best way for us to thank Cori Bush for all of her work this week is to
elect more working-class candidates who will stand with her, fighting for
the issues affecting working-class people.

Bush today?

Subject: CORI BUSH 👏
Cori Bush got it done. 👏
The Biden administration just announced an extension of the eviction
moratorium covering 90% of the U.S. — the hardest hit by the pandemic. It
would NOT have happened without the fearless, moral leadership of Cori
Bush.
Let’s show Cori how much we appreciate her leadership tonight. [ [link removed] ]Can you
make a $3 donation to Cori Bush and JD right now? Every
dollar helps us keep Cori fighting for US in Congress and elect more folks
like her.

On Friday night, Cori Bush brought a chair to the U.S. Capitol.
She slept there overnight as hundreds of other members of Congress left
town for vacation.
How could Congress leave town when 11 million people faced the threat of
being kicked out of their homes? It’s immoral.
For 5 days, Cori was out in front of the Capitol, demanding action and
speaking on behalf of the millions of people who need this.
Let’s show her how much we appreciate her courage by supporting her
campaign today and raising money to elect more good leaders who’ll join
her in Congress.

Today is a proud day for all of us at Justice Democrats. Hopefully you
feel it too. If we can elect 5 more Cori Bushs next year, imagine just
what we could accomplish.
In solidarity,
Team JD
