Over the next week, Senators are finalizing the $3.5 trillion package that Congress will pass with a simple majority vote. Republicans can’t block it, so if Democrats agree, it will become law.

This is a critical period for our priorities―particularly Medicare expansion.

✅ Covering dental, vision, and hearing care; and capping out-of-pocket expenses
✅ Lowering the Medicare eligibility age
✅ Giving Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices

The upcoming votes will be a pivotal opportunity for our Social Security system. Republicans have already signaled that they plan to try to force cuts to Social Security and Medicare during must-pass legislation.
