Team --

Today is the 56th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 that outlawed racial discrimination in voting. In the decades since, conservative state politicians have been chipping away at the voting power of Black communities by passing racist, discriminatory voting laws, and this year has been no exception.

At least 18 GOP-led states have passed over 30 new voting restrictions since the 2020 election. Republicans are trying to rig our democracy and silence Black voices. We can stop them, but we need help registering Black voters to counteract these blatant attacks.

We understand not everyone can afford to donate right now, but even contributing $1 helps us engage Black voters and register them for upcoming elections. Chip in $1, or whatever you can afford, to help us combat voter suppression.

We are living in the middle of a voting rights crisis. Civil rights and progressive leaders are sounding the alarm, and marches and protests for voting rights are happening across the country.

America isn't free until every single American can vote freely and without fear. That still isn't the case, so we'll continue fighting for the voting rights of our communities through our Vote To Live Campaign.

With your support, we registered over 114,000 voters last year. We plan to beat our own record, and your $1 donation gets us one step closer. Will you chip in now on today's anniversary to help us register and engage Black voters?

Onward,

The Vote To Live Team
