Monday, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) joined FOX news to discuss the recent evidence that not only suggests that COVID-19 originated in the Wuhan lab in China, but that the Chinese military was working with the World Health Organization to cover it up. Rep. Malliotakis called for other nations to hold China accountable for this cover up. Click below to watch the full interview. 

Tuesday, Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (WV) gave an update on the status of the bipartisan infrastructure bill. 

"Americans want paved roads, clean water, & connected communities. They don’t want their taxes raised to pay for trillions of dollars of liberal wish list items. That's what separates the bipartisan infrastructure bill from the Dems’ $3.5 TRILLION reckless tax & spending spree."

Wednesday, Sen. Joni Ernst (IA) joined numerous GOP leaders to call for Governor Cuomo's immediate resignation as details of alleged sexual assault were revealed. Sen. Ernst pushed for a "Cuomo Amendment" to keep out-of-state taxpayer money out of the Governor's pocket. Click below to watch her full interview.

Thursday, Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01) participated in a ride along with local law enforcement to discuss the current mental health crisis happening in South Carolina. Rep. Mace has been preparing mental health policies that will give greater access to local resources.

Axios: Moderna: COVID-19 vaccine 93% effective through 6 months. The number shows that efficacy "remains durable" through that time, and hardly wanes from the 94.5% efficacy Moderna reported last November. But the clinical trial, which started in July 2020, was conducted before the Delta variant became the common strain in the U.S.

CBS News: Florida Governor DeSantis clashes with President Biden as state faces mounting COVID surge. Florida now has more than 12,000 hospital patients with the coronavirus — the highest number since the start of the pandemic. Schools are about to open in the state, and the governor says new COVID requirements are out of the question.

The Hill: Poll: Inflation named as top economic concern for voters. Voters say inflation is their top economic concern, a new Hill-HarrisX poll finds, as members of both parties warn about rising prices.

Fox News: Pence urges young conservatives 'to go get' COVID vaccine shot.  Former Vice President Mike Pence, who was very much the public face of the Trump administration's efforts to help drug makers quickly produce an effective coronavirus vaccine through Operation Warp Speed, is urging young conservatives to get vaccinated.

State of Politics: New York House Republicans call for documents in civil nursing home inquiry. The Republican members of New York's House delegation on Wednesday called on U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to release records that had been part of the Justice Department's civil rights inquiry into publicly run nursing homes in the state.
