Good morning --
As you know, I never expected to be on the Select Committee
investigating January 6th, and I certainly didn't seek it out. But I
was also brought up to believe that when called upon to serve the
greater good, you say "yes" -- even when it isn't easy.
I can tell you it wasn't easy listening to the sworn testimony of
those valiant police officers who survived utter hell on January 6th.
And I'm not ashamed that it brought me to tears. Every American should
be both heartbroken and angered that such evil acts could be
committed by our own countrymen; let alone at the United States
Capitol.
But as difficult as that first hearing may have been, it only
steeled my resolve to get to the God's honest truth of exactly what
happened that day and who must be held accountable. America
and history deserve the whole truth -- no matter who it helps or who
it hurts.
There will be many witnesses to examine and many facts to uncover
in order to draw our conclusions. And the committee's final report
must answer America's pressing questions.
And that's why I'd love the feedback of reasonable people
of goodwill, like you:

What's your #1 priority for the 1/6 Select Committee? What questions
do you most want answered?
My team and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts
about what's most important to you. Good, reasonable people being
engaged is exactly how we're going to mend divisions and heal this
country. And for that, I thank you.
Country First,
Adam
