Dearest Comrades,

The first summer social is nearly here and we're ready to see your lovely faces again! Below you'll find a quick description of the social, followed by a handful of announcements about what the chapter is up to right now - and how you can get involved.

What you need to know about the social:

  • When? August 14th, 11am-5pm
  • Where? Garland Park (Cherry Creek Dr South between Monaco and Holly)
  • Masks required? We'll be outside, but due to the Delta variant and our desire to include a wide range of comrades (older/younger/immunocompromised) we have chosen to include this requirement. Masks/face-shields will be available if people want them.
  • What will we be doing?
    • Cookout! Bring a dish to share or grill if you'd like.
    • Plant swap!
    • Clothing & gear swap. Anything left at the end will be donated.
    • Outdoor games.
    • Socializing with comrades in a laid back atmosphere. Tables are on-site but overflow blankets are always welcome.

If you are interested in helping with turnout or childcare, please let us know: [email protected]. Additionally, any committee/campaign/working-group should feel free to utilize the space we have reserved for their individual purposes (ie: a meeting, kicking off a canvas, etc). Reach out if we can help in any way!
