We have a chance to convince the EPA to BAN chlorpyrifos, friend!

New research suggested that chlorpyrifos exposure may contribute to a greater risk of autism, in addition to brain and nervous system damage in children. The EPA is expected to make an announcement about brain-damaging chlorpyrifos any day now, six years after the Trump administration canceled a scheduled ban.

This has been a long fight, friend, but we’re so close to getting this dangerous pesticide out of our food. Can we count on you to join EWG and urge the EPA to finally BAN chlorpyrifos?

Here’s what you need to know about chlorpyrifos:

1.
It can harm children’s brains, even in small doses.
2.
The EPA’s own assessment found that the levels of chlorpyrifos found on produce are unsafe.
3.
It can be found on kids’ favorite foods, like grapes, apples and peaches.

This toxic pesticide should have been banned years ago, but just days after meeting with a pesticide executive, the Trump EPA announced its plan to cancel a scheduled ban of chlorpyrifos.

Since then, California, New York and Hawai’i have banned chlorpyrifos, and its chief manufacturer announced plans to end production. But the EPA is still defending this toxic pesticide. Enough is enough! It’s time to get this dangerous chemical out of our environment and away from our kids. Will you join us?

Click here to add your name to EWG’s petition calling on the EPA to BAN brain-damaging chlorpyrifos! Help us protect children’s health!

Thanks for taking action, friend.
