In a step forward to repair the extreme damage the city has done to the Austin Police Department, Austin residents will soon have the chance to vote on a measure that would require the city to have a minimum amount of police officers on staff. 




Once a great city, our state capitol has become increasingly more dangerous after the Austin City Council succumbed to the ‘woke’ narrative to defund the police. Homicides have increased 96%, and 15-20 officers are leaving the force every month. Thanks to the Left’s “defund the police” movement, this is the frightening reality we find ourselves in. 




An increase in murders, slower 911 response times, and a skyrocketing auto theft rate are just a few of the horrible and avoidable results of the city council's decision to defund the police in Austin. It’s clear and downright shameful that the Democrats’ anti-police policies are endangering Texans. 




More than ever, we need to back the blue. The courage they display daily to keep us safe is something we ought to never take for granted.
