John,

Did you know that thousands of workers in our federal judiciary system aren’t protected from harassment, discrimination, or other forms of misconduct?

Those who adjudicate our laws shouldn’t be above them, which is why I introduced the Judiciary Accountability Act. The bill will enact the same workplace protections that everyone else enjoys while protecting whistleblowers by prohibiting retaliation against them.

No one is above the law, will you donate to our campaign so I can continue fighting for the rights of workers everywhere?

In recent years, more stories of improper conduct by judges have come to light:

  • Ninth Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt subjected attorneys to demeaning treatment and sexual harassment.
  • More than 15 women have accused Nine Circuit judge Alex Kozinski of wide-ranging sexual misconduct.
  • U.S. District judge Carlos Murguia gave preferential and unwanted attention to female court employees and had an affair with a convicted felon.

Full protections for judiciary workers around the country should have been passed before these incidents were uncovered, not after.

Will you support my work to act quickly to pass protections from any kind of discrimination of harassment for every worker in this country?

Thank you,

— Hank Johnson
