That?s why in June the Oswego Village Board decided to refund its bonds, allowing the Village to repay some of its debt at a lower interest rate. At Tuesday night?s board meeting, staff announced that the rate on the bond issuance has been locked in, and as a result, Oswego?s residents will save nearly $1.58 million over the next 15 years. Vet Fest 141 comes to Oswego's new entertainment venue Aug. 26-29, featuring LoCash headlining Friday night and Vince Neil of Motley Crue headlining Saturday night. The Village of Oswego is nearing the end of its three year long meter replacement program and to date has replaced more than 12,000 meters. The new meters are allow the Village and its water customers to more accurately track water consumption, and replacement is mandatory.?If you have not yet had your meter replaced, call 1-800-355-7299 to schedule your appointment.?
