Groups working on representation in politics are talking about OpenSecrets' recent panel discussion and report, “Which Women Can Run? The Fundraising Gap in the 2020 Elections’ Competitive Primaries.” In it, authors Grace Haley and Sarah Bryner found that while “women ran, donated and voted in record numbers during the 2020 elections,” intersectional barriers still make it difficult for women of color to fundraise at the same rate as white women."
