------------------------------------------------------------
By EPPC President Ryan T. Anderson (with Robert P. George)
USA Today

BECERRA AND BIDEN BETRAY MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS BEING FORCED TO ASSIST IN ABORTIONS ([link removed])
By EPPC Senior Fellow Roger Severino
National Review Online
In a piece for National Review Online ([link removed]) , EPPC Senior Fellow Roger Severino sharply criticizes a decision by the Department of Justice to drop its lawsuit against the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in a case involving a nurse who alleged that she was forced, over her religious and moral objections, to participate in an abortion procedure: "The facts were stunning in their clarity, the victim was extremely credible and sympathetic, and the violator remained entirely callous and unrepentant. The UVMMC matter was the most open and shut conscience case in over a decade."
