Dear Colleague,
Every few years, UN agencies submit their strategic plans for approval. UNICEF, the UN’s agency for children, is asking the member states on its executive committee to give it a mandate to promote a controversial social agenda, including abortion. Stefano Gennarini, J.D. reports.
LGBT activists want a global ban on therapies to help people experiencing unwanted same-sex attraction, yet such a ban would erode the protection of fundamental human rights, like freedom of expression and freedom of religion. Alexis Fragosa, Esq. reports.
As you may know, Sophia Institute just brought out Austin Ruse’s new book, “Under Siege: No Finer Time to be a Faithful Catholic.” Here is his interview with Fr. Mitch Pacwa on EWTN.
Stefano has also recently published a Definitions paper on the importance of consensus in the UN system and how that longstanding norm is coming under attack. It can be read here.
Yours faithfully,
Rebecca Oas
Director of Research
