In light of new CDC guidelines and rising infection rates, I wanted to take a moment to share some information as we work towards safely reopening our country.

First, I’d like to personally encourage each and every eligible American to get vaccinated. The vaccine is safe, effective, free, and it’s our best tool to combat the Delta variant. You can click here to find a vaccine center near you.

Even if you’re already fully vaccinated, the CDC now recommends wearing a mask indoors in public if you are in an area of substantial or high transmission. Additionally, even if you’re fully vaccinated, you should still watch out for symptoms of COVID-19 -- especially if you’ve been around someone who is sick.

We’ve come a long way from where we were last summer, but this fight isn’t over yet. We still need to stay vigilant, act responsibly, and do our part to keep our families and communities safe. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your doctor.
