The Actors Fund
[link removed]
Dear Actors Fund Friends,
The calendar has turned once again, and with it comes more uncertainty
as we continue to adapt to changing safety measures and restrictions.
While we're slowly celebrating the return of live theater, we
are also taking a moment to cheer for all the ways in which the
performing arts community has and continues to persevere. That
creativity under pressure has shown itself time and again in the form
of livestream concerts, new side businesses supporting the arts,
musicals and plays performed from home, and so much more.
Everyone's perseverance and your unwavering support proved that
a life in the arts is always possible, even in the most difficult
circumstances.
We hope you enjoy this week's events, and hope to see you again soon.

The Show Must Go On Documentary Premiere
Monday, August 9, 6:30 pm ET
The Majestic Theatre
[link removed]
The Show Must Go On, a new documentary from theater director Sammi
Cannold and Emmy-winning filmmaker Dori Berinstein, will make its
premiere at Broadway's Majestic Theatre in a one-night-only fundraiser
benefiting The Actors Fund. Adrienne Warren, Ariana DeBose, Sierra
Boggess, Ali Ewoldt and Shereen Pimentel will join the festivities,
along with additional surprise special guests.
The documentary follows the companies of two productions in South
Korea-the world tour of The Phantom of the Opera and the South
Korean tour of Cats-as they pushed forward safely during the
pandemic when the rest of the industry had shut down worldwide.
The film also follows Andrew Lloyd Webber in the U.K. as he uses the
South Korean companies' model in his fight for the future of theater
in the West End.
Attendees must follow all COVID-19 safety measures and theater
protocols set forth by the event. Please visit Telecharge for the most
up-to-date information.
