Some deploys are chock-full of big, fun features (like email campaigns last month), while others include less visible but still crucial updates — like improvements to overall toolset speed!

Making uploads, email sends, and page loads faster has been a big focus for us over the last year, and the work continues! We know when you’re sending a rapid response email, the time it takes for the email to target and send and for the pages to load hugely impacts your ability to be effective. This deploy tackles speed on some key workflows, along with some small but mighty features below!

New Ladder Trigger: Tag Added

You can now trigger activists into a ladder when a tag is added to their record. This means you can manually trigger a group of activists into a ladder from a report or an upload or from the new AB/AN integration just by adding the correct tag! If you are not using our automated messaging feature, I recommend starting with a simple welcome series.

With this new feature, now you can automatically:

Reactivate donors who donated in in 2020 but haven’t opened an email this year
Send anyone with the ‘potential volunteer’ tag a series of onboarding emails
Send everyone who attended a training last month a mobile survey
And much more!

Other updates worth noting:

Target reports, emails, and mobile messages by keyword (like text JOIN to take action) using the new source keyword in the source filter.
Download email and mobile message stats by date on the Group Manage page.

Update to the Action Network/Zapier integration

Now, in addition to being able to subscribe activists or record them as submitting a form, you can:

Record someone as having RSVP'd to an event
Record someone as having signed a petition
Create stub fundraisers and record donations on Action Network
