I had the honor of serving the people of Iowa's 2nd Congressional District for 14 years. In that time there was someone who stood out as one of the hardest workers I'd ever seen in my time in public service: Abby Finkenauer.

Abby and I worked on a number of issues together when we both served in Congress – and Abby didn't approach her work like many politicians do. Sadly, Sen. Chuck Grassley has lost his way. He doesn't give a voice to the working families of our state anymore, choosing instead to stand with Mitch McConnell every step of the way and embolden the dangerous rhetoric of the twice-impeached former president. Iowans deserve so much better.
