I’m writing with the sad news that Representative Salazar has turned her back on Israel.

Late last week, Rep. Salazar voted NAY on House Bill 4373. Among other important programs, this bill provides Israel with $3.3 billion in aid that they rely upon to maintain their essential security systems.

This funding was part of a Memorandum of Understanding from 2016, but if Rep. Salazar had her way, the money would not be delivered. Thankfully, the Democratic majority passed this legislation and prevented the chaos that Republicans intended.

Salazar’s misguided vote is just another example of why we must defeat her in 2022. Can you donate $20 today to ensure she is replaced next year?

Pro-Israel groups from across the political spectrum hailed this vote as an important measure to continue our strong alliance and ensure Israel’s security. Clearly, Rep. Salazar’s decision was short-sighted and misaligned with her constituents’ views.

The people of Florida’s 27th Congressional District deserve better. Our strongest ally in the Middle East deserves better. You deserve better.
