Did you know that Medicare and Medicaid just turned 56? These programs are essential to our communities, and have been especially necessary during the pandemic. In case you missed it, we held a press conference to celebrate their birthday on July 30th. 

But we can’t stop there; it’s extremely important for us to make sure that our voices are heard about expanding these programs in states where there hasn’t been much progress made. We must continue to put pressure on Congress to expand these programs. To those that need them, they are that important.
