Please – please – do not forget this number: 0.12% (10,033 votes). That was the margin in Florida's last Senate race, and that means my battleground race against Marco Rubio will come down to who has the most resources to reach Floridians.
And right now, I'm looking at a fundraising gap of $15,000.
I can't have an under-resourced campaign when Marco Rubio just hauled in $4 million – because without those resources, I can't compete, meaning I risk a win for Floridians and our Democratic Senate majority. Plain and simple.
