Donald Trump met with right-wing Republican Billy Long yesterday -- and just hours later, Long announced he was running for U.S. Senate on Tucker Carlson's show.
 
Long, following in his favorite dictator's footsteps, has hired Trump's top fundraiser. He also hired Kellyanne Conway, who spent nearly 4 years lying to the American people and enabling Donald Trump's fascist ways.
 
What's more? According to POLITICO, Long is wasting no time recruiting Republican mega-donors. He is already “ sending out invitations to next week's fundraiser showcasing a host committee of nearly 100 major givers,” with Kellyanne Conway listed as a host for the event.
 
Here's the thing you should know: Trump won Missouri by 15 points. But because fascist Senator Roy Blunt is retiring, this is an open seat, and that means Democrats have a real chance at a Senate pick up. Stopping a Trump-backed Republican like Billy Long is going to be crucial if we want to win this seat and secure the Senate.
