BREAKING: Maggie officially has her first opponent in her race for re-election! Earlier this week, Tracy Tatro Trujillo announced that she would be running to take Maggie's place as New Mexico Secretary of State. “I want voter ID [for elections],” [Trujillo] said. “The only people allowed to do mail-in voting will be overseas military members.”
Unlike Maggie, who is dedicated to making voting easier, more accessible, and less restrictive in order to ensure that every New Mexican has a voice, Trujillo's own statements give an early impression that she has no problem with tightening restrictions.
