Last year, Jared championed the introduction and passage of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) in the House, and today is the one-year anniversary of it being signed into law with bipartisan support!

We’re starting to see the investments in our public lands that stem from the passage of the GAOA, so today we want to hear from you: Do you support the improvement and maintenance of our public lands and parks here in Maine and nationwide?

In June, Jared joined Secretary Deb Haaland on her visit to Acadia -- her first trip to Maine and first visit to a national park as Secretary of the Interior -- where they discussed the future of our national parks and the planned park investments stemming from the passage of the GAOA.

Because of the Great American Outdoors Act, Maine will be receiving $16 million to help improve and maintain our public lands and parks including near Perham Stream, around Bethel, and in our very own Acadia National Park.

Jared knows that Maine’s natural resources are essential to our state’s economy and way of life, and he continues to be a fierce advocate for the maintenance of forests and public lands nationwide. If you’re able, we hope you’ll consider chipping in a few dollars as we gear up for a tough campaign to defend Jared’s seat in Congress.
