Friend--

Late last night, I got word that my opponent David Valadao out-raised us in the most recent fundraising quarter -- by quite a bit.

But it's how he did it that matters. Nearly $60,000 of his fundraising dollars came in from corporate PACs.

That's especially concerning because we just ran the numbers and our October fundraising performance has been lagging a bit. We need to raise an additional $14,551 to get back on track.

If we're going to win this race, we cannot risk falling short like this -- especially not against Valadao's corporate allies.

We've launched a 3-day fundraising drive in order to keep pace with Valadao. Can you make an urgent $3 donation before midnight?

It's seems we're running against the same old Valadao and the classic GOP.

Valadao's leadership on the issues has been sparse, but we always seem to catch wind about another one of his ritzy corporate fundraisers in DC.

That's okay though -- we've defeated Valadao once. If we stick together, I know we can win this election again. Let's send a final message that our community is not for sale to the highest bidder.

Before midnight chip in a donation of $3 to stand with me. Every donation will make a difference against Valadao and his corporate allies.

All my very best,

Team TJ
