Fundraising is my least favorite part of this job, but just a few moments from now I’m going to have to ask you to make a donation before midnight. Give me a chance to explain.

I don’t ask for your hard-earned dollars this often because I enjoy it. I do it because Republicans are spending outrageous sums of money to attack Democrats running to flip the Senate, and the only chance we have to respond is by collecting small-dollar contributions from a whole lot of folks like you.

The reason we were able to hold our own against special interests and win our race last year was because of you. So, I’m turning to you again:
