I know what it's like to live without healthcare. As a U.S. Senator, I will work every day to ensure healthcare is a right, not a privilege. If you believe that's a fight we need to take on, add your name with me:

Jack,
I became a single mother at 24.
When I gave birth to my oldest son, he was able to stay on Medicaid. But as soon as he was born, I was kicked off.
I was young, I was on my own, and I had a newborn to take care of. But I had no healthcare.
I could tell you how that affected me: How I worried about what would happen to our finances if I needed a routine surgery. What would happen if I got sick. What would happen if that doctor's bill or dental check-up was more than we could afford. I worried how I would pay to take care of myself—and take care of my son.
I could tell you how those worries kept me up at night.
But I don't have to—because everyday New Mexicans already know.
And here's the issue: The wealthy officials who often represent us in public office—they don't know. They don't know what it's like to worry about your health and how to pay for the care you need.
We need more people in the Senate who share my experience of worrying about healthcare costs—and who are willing to fight to create a better healthcare system for all.
Let me just say: I’m ready to fight for you.
We have a lot of work to do. If you’re with me in the fight to make healthcare a right for all—not a privilege for the well-off—add your name to my petition.
