Big update:
The White House issued NEW eviction protections yesterday to keep millions
of renters and families in their homes.

standoff between white house and progressive democrats
This simply wouldn’t have happened without the relentless advocacy of Cori
Bush, Pramila’s leadership on the issue, and the nonstop pressure of the
Congressional Progressive Caucus. Our movement made this a reality.
Yet, there’s still so much more work left to do during this crisis.
Congress MUST find a longer term solution to the eviction crisis. When the
pandemic eviction protections end, millions will likely still face
eviction. At least tens of thousands of people have already been evicted
during the pandemic, despite the nationwide protections in place. And the
rental relief programs have been extremely difficult for many families to
access.
We need to keep folks in their homes, not allow corporate landlords and
their PACs to run out the clock. The wave of evictions still awaits if we
don’t take action — and our push to guarantee housing as a human right is
more important than ever.

push to win historic aid to tenants and ensure housing is a human right?
We’ve proven advocacy works — now chip in $3 today and fuel
our continued fight to transform housing in this country.
