For over a decade, Republicans have blocked Medicaid expansion to the more than 500,000 North Carolinians who need it. Now, it’s never been more important to make sure our people have access to the care they need.

Once again, COVID-19 cases are surging here in North Carolina and across the country.

Once again, far too many North Carolinians who get sick won’t be able to afford the care they need.

A year and a half into the greatest public health crisis in a century, there’s never been a more critical moment to ensure that no one has to choose between visiting the doctor and putting food on the table — or to affirm that health care access shouldn’t be a partisan issue.
