Friend, thanks to your support, the U.S.-Israel relationship is more safe and secure in Congress. 

 

Decision Desk HQ has called the race! Shontel Brown won the OH-11 Democratic primary election! Because this district is heavily Democratic, she is overwhelmingly likely to win the General Election.

This was a hard-fought battle. Political experts thought there was NO chance Shontel Brown could win, but Pro-Israel America endorsed her early in the campaign because we recognized her sincere and heartfelt support for the U.S.-Israel relationship.

 

Here’s why we endorsed Shontel Brown:

• She supports Israel’s right to defend itself and believes the U.S. and Israel share critical security interests in the Middle East. 
• She is steadfast in her opposition to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement that aims to delegitimize Israel and makes peace less likely.
• She would work to strengthen security, economic, scientific, and cultural relationships between our two nations.

As voters in the district learned more about Councilwoman Brown and her policy positions throughout the race – they increasingly supported her campaign. 

 

But that’s not all, friend. Pro-Israel America also played an outsized role in mobilizing our pro-Israel community behind her campaign. See below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

• Members of the pro-Israel community, including our 170,000+ grassroots supporters, raised more than $800,000 for Shontel Brown’s campaign. 
• Our volunteer activists sent over 165,000 texts and made more than 40,000 calls to voters in OH-11 through PIA Action Fund’s outreach program. 
• Residents of Cleveland viewed PIA United’s educational billboards more than 1.4 million times. 
• OH-11 voters received a clear view of each candidates’ policy positions around the U.S.-Israel relationship with PIA Action Fund’s special election primary guide. 
• More than 40,000 unique voters have seen PIA Action Fund’s micro-targeted digital ads in OH-11. 

With Shontel Brown’s victory, the pro-Israel grassroots community has once again demonstrated its conviction and willingness to step up for candidates who value the U.S.-Israel relationship – and the importance of engaging in these critical races.
