Team -- we have some great news to report! Thanks to Susie’s leadership and hard work, funding for the proposed nuclear repository at Yucca Mountain has been blocked. That’s another important step toward keeping nuclear waste out of Nevada.

This is a major win for Nevadans. Susie worked with other Nevadan officials to ensure our state has clean, usable, and safe public lands by ensuring no nuclear waste is being dumped at Yucca Mountain.

But we still need your support. Even though Susie has continued to block funding for Yucca Mountain, we need 150 people from xxxxxx to sign on in support of protecting this precious resource. Can we count on you to show your support?

Since taking office, Susie has dedicated her time to ensure that Yucca Mountain wouldn’t become the nation’s dumping ground for nuclear waste.
