Indivisibles are demanding that Senator Sinema do her job to secure our democracy and pass a strong reconciliation package

Indivisibles,

You may have seen our email a few days ago after Kyrsten Sinema’s comments that she’d be leaving for vacation whether August recess gets delayed or not -- even if it meant missing votes on key items like the For the People Act and a COVID-19 recovery package.

We know that these bills absolutely have to pass, and vacations must wait until they’re on the books. And while Indivisibles across the country are pressuring every single senator not to let anything stand in the way of passing crucial bills (P.S. -- have you called yet today? Click here to get connected!), we’re making an extra push to hold Sinema accountable for going on vacation instead of passing legislation.

So tomorrow, we’re running a full-page ad in the Arizona Republic saying just that (scroll down to check it out!). This ad will push even more constituent calls from across the state to demand that Senator Sinema stay in D.C. and do her job to secure our democracy and pass a strong reconciliation package.

We’re asking for your support to do it -- a full-page ad like this one costs $15,000, and grassroots donations are the fuel behind our work. Can you chip in $10 to help us hold Sinema accountable, win major democracy reform, and pass our progressive agenda before it’s too late?

If you’ve saved your information with ActBlue Express Lane, your donation to Indivisible Project will go through immediately:

Here’s the ad in all its glory:

Newspaper ad reading, "Missing. Kyrsten Sinema must: Eliminate the filibuster, Pass the For the People Act, Pass the reconciliation bill, Do her job to save our democracy. Where is she? Last seen: Telling Chuck Schumer she was going on vacation instead of staying to pass legislation. Call 1-877-847-4809"

Your support is the key to winning our biggest fights -- from calling your senators every day to chipping in for these big-ticket items, we couldn’t do this work without you.

In solidarity,
Indivisible Team
