Each week we read tragic stories about violence rising in cities and communities across the nation.

For the last year, Democrats beat the drum of “defund the police.”

Their anti-police message has taken hold and emboldened criminals, and made life more dangerous for law-abiding citizens. 

It's absolutely vital that we keep American families safe. That is the bottom line, and right now, too many Americans aren’t.

I won’t sit by and watch America’s law enforcement community be disrespected and demonized by the left — I’m taking ACTION. 

In the Senate, I introduced legislation that would hire 100,000 new police officers. 

It’s not complicated — we need more cops. We shouldn't be defunding the police, we should be supporting them.
