I just left a meeting with President Biden and other Latino leaders. I met with the president in observance of the El Paso shooting and to discuss important issues currently facing the Latino community.

Though we discussed a number of urgent issues facing our communities, I specifically encouraged the president to support federal voting rights legislation.

Voto Latino is at the forefront of this fight, so I know how critical the situation is, and I also know we can’t stop voter suppression alone. We need support from the White House -- and from you.

Among our ongoing efforts, we’re suing Texas over a new voter suppression law and doubling down on our voter registration campaigns across America.
